This <a href="http://www.myfoxdc.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=2686660&amp;version=2&amp;locale=EN-US&amp;layoutCode=VSTY&amp;pageId=1.1.1">video clip</a> is an example of the winning team for First LEGO league in the state of Virginia this past season.  Here is the local newspaper feature about our <a href="http://www.dnronline.com/news_details.php?AID=11542&amp;CHID=1">Prism grant </a>at James Madison University.  The challenge mat for this year&#8217;s mission has arrived.  Now I need to figure out who is on our Mountain View Elementary School team.</p>

<p>0, 1, 1, 2,3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597&#8230;</p>
<p>One group discovered the sequence when they counted the petal on the Black Eyed Susan. Other groups found it on the pinecones and sunflowers.<img width="128" height="96" alt="sunflower" src="http://mjantzi.edublogs.org/files/2006/09/180px-Helianthus_whorl.thumbnail.jpg" /> The sunflower head displays florets in spirals of 34 and 55 around the outside.</p>
